Kim’s radio career started over twenty-five years ago as on-air afternoon and morning show host in the Sacramento market and across Northern California. In 2003, she started her company, Kim Kaplan Productions, which continues to be a reliable source for clients who need consulting and creative services, from professional voiceover and commercial audio production to creative strategies and copywriting. Her multitude of talents and skills include podcast host and producer, voice actor, voiceover coach, public speaking, product endorser, commercial copywriter and audio producer.Kim has been the recipient of multiple Mercury Award nominations for her creative radio commercials, and in 2022, was honored to be included as a Digital Media Awards Finalist from the International Association of Culinary Professionals for her role as producer for the podcast Raising Kale, hosted by Amber Stott. Kim is currently the host for The Modern Pleasure Podcast featuring sex therapist and expert Dr. Jenni Skyler, which will be launching their second season in the Spring of 2023. The Modern Pleasure Podcast Season One is currently being featured on Lemonada Media’s “Good Sex” Podcast feed. Kim can be heard across the country on thousands of radio commercials and continues to provide professional voiceover services to small and large businesses on a local, regional and national level, and is a current partner at ModernPodz, LLC., a podcast creation and distribution company formed in 2022, where she provides podcast hosting and production services.
