Kim Lakin-Smith is a speculative fiction author who writes steampunk and goth near-future science fiction.Lakin-Smith's first novel, "Tourniquet: Tales from the Renegade City," was published in 2007.Lakin-Smith received her degree in English Litertature and Creative Writing from the University of Glamorgan. She studied for her M.A. in Writing at Nottingham Trent.
