Kim Singleton, a filmmaker, writer and poet, is passionate about storytelling. The former engineer and finance professional studied creative writing at the Frederick Douglass Creative Arts Center, Gotham Writers and African Voices Workshops. She hosts the weekly television show and podcast Consider It Blacklit that spotlights African Americans in entertainment. She is the author of the best-selling book I Love My People and the owner of Sing Sing 2000 Entertainment, a M/WBE certified company in New York City and New York State.
