Kris Maher serves as Senior Vice President of Community Development for Rancho Mission Viejo, the largest master-planned community in Southern California and Orange County’s last working ranch. She joined Rancho Mission Viejo in 2014 after serving as a full-time consultant for ten years in a variety of capacities. Kris is currently leading the community’s next phase of the Village of Rienda set to launch in summer 2025, consisting of 175 two-story homes, which will also include an exclusive 55+ community consisting of 326 single-level living homes. Her experience is multi-faceted and encompasses more than 30 years with some of the leading architects, home builders and developers in Southern California including Bassenian Lagoni Architects, A-M Homes, Greystone Homes, Catellus Residential Group and Brookfield Homes. A licensed Architect, Kris received her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Sciences from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Univeristy of California at Irvine.
