Kris Krüg is a Canadian photographer, social entrepreneur, and technologist. Kris Krüg started his career in the late 1990s as a web designer and developer. In 2003, he co-founded Raincity Studios, a digital agency that worked with clients such as the United Nations, Greenpeace, and Mozilla Foundation.Kris Krüg is also known for his photography, particularly his portraits of people, landscapes, and technology. His work has been featured in various publications, including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Wired. He is a regular speaker at conferences such as TEDx and SXSW, where he talks about the intersection of technology, art, and society.Kris Krüg is also a social entrepreneur and community builder. In 2011, he co-founded 1Village, a non-profit organization that uses technology to empower communities in the developing world. He also co-founded the Vancouver Changecamp, an annual unconference that brings together people interested in using technology for positive social change.Throughout his career, Kris Krüg has been recognized for his contributions to the tech and social entrepreneurship communities.
