Laith Marouf is a journalist with Free Palestine TV. Currently based in Lebanon, Marouf is of Syrian-Canadian origin and spent years working in Quebecois media. He regularly appears via independent media such as Electronic Intifada and Mint Press. As executive director of Community University Television, he developed its award-winning Quebec Spring broadcasts embedded within the student movement (2010-13). Laith launched and hosted the Palestinian “Under the Olive Tree” community radio show airing in Montreal (2005-10).
