Laura Jedeed is a freelance journalist who concentrates on American conservatism and the far right. Her work has appeared in The New Republic, Rolling Stone, and NYMag. Jedeed joined the Army as a signals intelligence collector and analyst, and served in Afghanistan in 2008 and 2009-10. Currently, she is attending New York University’s Literary Reportage program. Jedeed received her B.A. in Political Science from Reed College.
