Laura McGann is the editorial director of Vox.com. Prior to becoming a director, she ran Vox's politics and policy coverage, notably during the 2016 election. Previously, McGann worked as an editor at Politico, where she oversaw a variety of coverage, including money and politics, Congress and domestic policy. McGann received her dual Masters degrees in journalism and legal studies from Northwestern University.
