Leah Plunkett is a legal scholar and teacher whose work focuses on digital privacy law and digital life for kids, teens, andfamilies. Currently, she is an Assistant Dean at Harvard Law School and an associate with the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.Plunkett is best-known for her first book, "Sharenthood: Why We Should Think before We Talk about Our Kids Online," which was published in 2019.Previously, Plunkett was an Associate Dean and Associate Professor at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. Before she became a teacher, she was a legal aid lawyer with New Hampshire Legal Assistance. She founded the Youth Law Project, which represents kids and teens in special education and school discipline cases.Plunkett received her B.A. in History and Literature from Harvard University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
