Lewis Black is an American comedian, actor, author, and playwright known for his angry, rant-filled comedic style and sharp political and social satire. He gained national prominence through regular appearances on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where his “Back in Black” segments became a signature feature. Black has released multiple stand-up specials, several of which aired on HBO and Comedy Central, earning him two Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album.
