Lola Young is an English singer and songwriter from Beckenham, South London. In 2021, Young was nominated for the Brit Award for Rising Star. That year, she was chosen to cover the 1980s hit "Together in Electric Dreams" for the John Lewis Christmas advert, with a slowed down arrangement. The following year, she placed fourth in the BBC Sound of 2022. In October 2024, Young was featured on the song "Like Him" on Tyler, the Creator's album Chromakopia.
