Dr. Lucia Rubinelli is a political scientist who studies the history of nineteenth and twentieth century political thought, political theory, and constitutional theory. Her work explores the variety of ways in which the principle of popular power has been articulated during the French Revolution and after. Currently, she is a Fellow in Political Theory at The London School of Economics and Political Science.Previously, Rubinelli was a Assistant Professor of Political Science at Yale University, and before that, a junior research fellow in the History of Political Thought at the University of Cambridge.Rubinelli regularly appears on the "Talking Politics Podcast." Her work has appeared in The New York Times and Prospect Magazine. Her first book, "Constituent Power: A History," was published in 2020.
