Luis Gallo is radio producer, artist and journalist based in Bogotá and New York. Currently, he is a producer for NPR, where he produces the show "Planet Money."
Gallo's work has appeared on NPR, Fusion, PRX, NBC, Deutsche Welle and VICE. He’s a former artist‑in‑residence at the Queens Museum. Before joining "Planet Money," he reported for "99% Invisible" He co-wrote and produced the podcast "Loud: The History of Reggaeton" for Spotify Studios and Futuro Studios. He reported on the underground market for Venezuelan women's hair for "Latino USA" and was a senior producer at Audible where he investigated the radicalization of teenagers online and the lives of Vietnam War draft dodgers-turned scientists and Nobel laureates at the NIH.
