Luke Turner is a writer and editor. the author of Men at War. In 2008, Turner he co-founded the online magazine The Quietus. His work has appeared in The Guardian, Dazed & Confused, Vice, the BBC, NME, Q, Mojo, Monocle, Nowness and the SomeSuch journal. He writes a regular column on Epping Forest for the online magazine Caught by the River. His first book, "Out of the Woods: Nature, Sexuality, and Faith in the Forest," was published in 2021. His second book, "Men At War: Loving, Lusting, Fighting, Remembering 1939-1945," was published in 2024.
