T.L. Alexander is a writer, director, teacher and performing artist from Michigan. Earning her BA from Eastern Michigan University in Theatre Arts, she has spent the last fifteen years working in storytelling, educational consulting and theatre arts for the young. Her background in theatre and education has fueled her passion for learning through play and applying the rules of improv to everyday life. She never earned a personal pan pizza for all the books she read as a kid but now she’s old enough to see that maybe the personal pan pizzas were actually the friends we made along the way. She lives in Ferndale and is very grateful to her family, her sweet John and Finn the Dog for their patience with her insomnia.
