Lyn Millner is an author and a professor of Journalism at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she founded the journalism program.Millner's work has appeared on NPR’s “Morning Edition” and “Weekend Edition,” American Public Media's “Marketplace” and “Weekend America,” in The Oxford American, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, USA Today, The New York Times, and The Hollywood Reporter. Her first book, "The Allure of Immortality: An American Cult, A Florida Swamp, and a Renegade Prophet," was published in 2015.Millner received her M.F.A. Creative Nonfiction from Florida International University.
