Maggie Smith is an author. She is a board member of the Chicago Writer’s Association and is Managing Editor of its The Write City Magazine. She also hosts the podcast Hear Us Roar. Previously, Smith was a psychologist, and later she was the founder and CEO of an art consulting company. In 2017, when her company was acquired, she became a full-time writer. Smith's first book, "Truth and Other Lies," was published in 2022.
