Dr. Mandy Turner is a writer and senior researcher with Security in Context's team of international scholars. Her group looks to rethink security as defined not by militarism and fear, but by human well-being, global solidarity, and a livable planet. Turner has worked as a journalist, an academic, and an activist. Her books include the edited collections From the River to the Sea: Palestine and Israel in the Shadow of ‘Peace’ (2019); The Politics of International Intervention: The Tyranny of Peace (2016); Decolonizing Palestinian Political Economy (2014); and Whose Peace? (2008).
