For the past 6 years he’s been part of the Microsoft Consulting Services Portuguese Team, working mainly in the Telco and Retail Industries and building some of the coolest things for these customers. As Digital Advisor his work consists of challenging his customers with new ideas and ways for them to take the most out of technology. His academic background as an Engineer specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Graphics making him specially tailored to address digital challenges that his customers are facing in transforming their businesses by levering technologies such as Data Mining and Machine Learning, Cognitive Intelligence and of course Mixed, Augmented and Virtual Reality. He also teaches the Data Mining and Machine Learning, Advanced Data Mining and AI, and Data Science Project courses at the Data Science and Business Analytics Post Graduate course at ISEG. He’s a professional speaker with more than 10 years of experience speaking in different national and international events, and the President of nonprofit organization called DICE Cultural, an NGO focused on creating more awareness around modern boardgames and a way for him to give back to the community and to a hobby he loves so much. For both these topics that he love he’s the founder and host of 2 podcasts, “Building the future AI Portugal Podcast”, and “DICE Podcast”.
