Maria Luisa Tucker is a journalist and audio producer. Currently, she is a producer at Somethin' Else and teaches social justice workshops for teens at NYU’s High School Academy. She created, produces, and hosts the podcast "Three Million Acres." Previously, Tucker was a staff writer at The Village Voice, AlterNet.org, and the Santa Fe Reporter. Tucker received her B.A. in Journalism from Texas State University and her M.A. in American Studies from Columbia University.
