Marissa Meyer is an author of young adult fiction. Many of her books are retellings of fairy tales. She also hosts the podcast "The Happy Writer." Meyer's short stories have been collected in anthologies, and she has published over 20 novels. Her first novel, "Cinder," was published in 2012. Meyer received her B.A. in Creative Writing from Pacific Lutheran University and her M.A. in Publishing from Pace University.
