Mark Gleeson is a football journalist and commentator. Currently, he is a football commentator for SuperSport. He is the official archivist for African football for FIFA, and is thought to have the most complete set of African football records in existence. Gleeson's work has appeared on BBC, Reuters and ESPN. He regularly appears on BBC's "World Football Phone In" as the African expert. Previously, Gleeson worked on staff at The Star and Mail & Guardian as soccer correspondent and sports editor. He is the founding editor of the South African football magazine Kock Off.
