Martin Pengelly is a journalist and freelance writer. Pengelly played rugby for Durham University and Rosslyn Park FC. He began his journalism career at Rugby News, then reported for The Guardian and The Independent before moving to the U.S. in 2012. His work has appeared in Sports Illustrated and the New York Times. His first book, "Brotherhood: When West Point Rugby Went to War," was published in 2023.
