Matt Stevens is an arts and culture reporter. Currently, he is the Los Angeles correspondent for The New York Times. Before coming to The Times, Stevens was a reporter at The Los Angeles Times, where he wrote about California's drought and covered the city's west side as a Metro reporter. He began his career as a sports reporter at the UCLA Daily Bruin.
