Amelia Kerr is a New Zealand cricketer who plays as an all rounder and serves as captain of the New Zealand women's national team. Born on 13 October 2000, she represents Wellington in domestic cricket and has been a regular member of the national side across One Day International and Twenty20 International formats. Kerr became the youngest female cricketer to score a double century in One Day International cricket when she made 232 not out against Ireland in 2018, which remains the highest individual score in a women's One Day International match. She is also known for her leg spin bowling and has ranked among New Zealand’s leading wicket takers in limited overs cricket. Kerr was named player of the tournament at the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup after helping New Zealand win the title for the first time.
