Mia Mercado is a humor writer. Currently, she is the morning blogger for The Cut. Mercado's work has appeared in The New Yorker, the New York Times, Washington Posts’s The Lily, Bustle, McSweeney’s, Reductress, BUST, The American Bystander, Gizmodo, The Hairpin, and Hallmark Cards. Mercado's first book, the essay collection "Weird But Normal," was published in 2020. She is working on her second book, "She’s Nice Though."
