Hello, Bourbon Lovers! This is Michael Ervin. He and his wife, Danielle recently moved to Western Kentucky from Atlanta, GA. Before moving to Kentucky, Michael worked as a Music Director for about fifteen years. He holds a Master of Music Degree in Choral Conducting from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. He also studied Vocal Performance at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL. He is grateful to have had many musical opportunities, not limited to singing in the Atlanta Symphony Chorus, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, and participating in 3 performances at Carnegie Hall. While attending Butler University, he also had the opportunity to sing on stage with The Rolling Stones at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. None of that has anything to do with bourbon, but hopefully gives you a glimpse into who he is. His love for bourbon began in 2012 when after a long restaurant shift, his boss poured him a big shot of Booker’s. Since then he has led numerous bourbon tastings, sharing his love for the spirit with anyone who will listen. He hopes that The Broken Cork: Bourbon Podcast brings you joy throughout your week.
