Michael Eric Herz is a legal scholar who specializes in aAdministrative Law Constitutional Law, and Environmental Law. Currently, he is a Professor of Law at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
Previously, Herz was a staff attorney at Environmental Defense Fund. He has also taught law at New York University School of Law, Columbia, and Princeton. He has edited four law textbooks.
Herz received his B.A. in English Language and Literature from Swarthmore College and his J.D. from the University of Chicago. He clerked for Associate Justice Byron R. White of the U.S. Supreme Court and for Chief Judge Levin H. Campbell of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
