Michael Murray is a person with a learning disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and an anxiety disorder whose lived experiences have fueled his advocacy efforts.He served as the deputy director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, and his efforts helped lead the federal government to hire 100,000 people with disabilities over the course of five years. He also established the nation’s largest post-secondary education program for people with intellectual disabilities, Beyond Academics, at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.When he isn’t managing the business development, government relations, innovations, corporate social responsibility, and marketing teams at GT Independence, he enjoys playing guitar, camping, loving Jesus, and being a dad.
