Michael Bettes is a television meteorologist and storm chaser. He reports for The Weather Channel in Atlanta, where he hosts "Weather Underground TV." He is lead field meteorologist for TWC's annual toranado seson show "The Great Tornado."
Bettes has been an on-camera meteorologist for TWC since 2003, and is also an occasional fill-in weather anchor on The Today Show. He was a co-host of TWC's "AMHQ: America's Morning Headquarters" from 2014–2017, "Wake Up With Al" from 2009–2014, "Abrams & Bettes Beyond the Forecast," from 2006–2009, "Your Weather Today" from 2009–2012, and "Morning Rush" from 2012–2014. Before that, he was a field reporter for The Weather Channel.
