Mike Stringer is a Canadian guitarist and songwriter, best known as a founding member of the metal band Spiritbox. Hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, he began his music career as a touring musician at 16. Stringer was a member of Iwrestledabearonce before co-founding Spiritbox in 2017 with his wife, vocalist Courtney LaPlante. His dynamic guitar work, blending down-tuned aggressive riffs with ambient passages, has been instrumental in defining Spiritbox's sound. The band's debut album, Eternal Blue (2021), received critical acclaim, reaching number 13 on the US Billboard 200.
