Miriam Lewin is a radio and television journalist based inBuenos Aires who has worked in Argentine radio and television for over 20 years. She was apolitical activist during Argentina's military dictatorship and in 1977 she was kidnapped and "disappeared" in a torture centre. After a year she was taken to the Navy Mechanical School (known as ESMA) in Buenos Aires where she spent another 10 months.
