Miyuki Jane Pinckard is a science fiction author, writer, game designer, and teacher. She co-founded the writer's workshop Kitchen Studio. Pinckard's work has appeared in Strange Horizons, Uncanny Magazine, 1up.com, Salon Magazine, and Flash Fiction Online. Previously, Pinckard was a game developer, and she worked on the games Super Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix and Rock Band Unplugged. She was also the guitarist for the music band Dealership.
