Molly was born and raised in Michigan and became passionate about travel early on in life. As a child, geography was a favorite subject, and as she grew older she became friends with many people from around the world through exchange student programs. Eventually, she earned a degree in anthropology from Michigan State University before finding The Lost Geographer Podcast where she gets to explore many of her passions on a daily basis. She is also passionate about reading, animals, and helping refugee populations.
