Monica Lewinsky is an American activist, writer, and public speaker who first gained public attention in the late 1990s due to her involvement in a political scandal with then-U.S. President Bill Clinton while serving as a White House intern. Following intense media scrutiny, she largely withdrew from public life before re-emerging as an advocate against cyberbullying and public shaming. Lewinsky has since written and spoken extensively on issues of online harassment and reputation damage, contributing to publications such as Vanity Fair and delivering a TED Talk in 2015. She also served as a producer on the FX series Impeachment: American Crime Story (2021), which dramatized the events surrounding the Clinton impeachment.
