Born and raised in Essex, he is an actor and rapper, under the name El Huxley. He released an EP in 2020. He was more interested in playing cricket than acting but landed the title role in The Informer despite no drama training. He has since moved into independent film, currently starring in sci-fi series Station Eleven. His brother is writer/comedian/actor Mawaan and their mother is famous Bollywood TV star Shahnaz.
