Nell Greenfieldboyce is a radio journalist. Currently, she is a science and technology reporter for NPR.
Greenfieldboyce's work focuses on how applied science and technology connects with people and culture. Before joining NPR, she reported on science and technology for Clinical Laboratory News, New Scientist, and U.S. News & World Report. She also taught at Johns Hopkins University.
Greenfieldboyce received her B.A. in social sciences and her M.A. in science writing from Johns Hopkins University. While there, she interned at UPI and the Johns Hopkins University Medical School Public Relations Office, and read copy for the student radio station.
