Serial entrepreneur Nick Molnar is the Co-Founder, Executive Director and Global Chief Revenue Officer of Afterpay Touch Group. Founded in February 2014 in Sydney, Australia by Nick and his Co-Founder Anthony Eisen, Afterpay facilitates commerce between retail merchants and their end-customers - offering a ‘buy now, take now, pay later’ service that does not require end-customers to enter into a traditional loan or pay any upfront fees or interest to Afterpay. Just two years after its founding, Afterpay listed on the ASX in May 2016 at a $1.6 billion valuation. Today Afterpay is valued at nearly AU $6 billion and has more than 4.3 million active customers and serves more than 30,000 retail merchants. In Australia, they process more than 10% of all e-commerce transactions. In May 2018, Afterpay expanded into the U.S. and have already amassed more than 1.5 million US customers and 3,300 active merchants, including Ray-Ban, Levi’s and Urban Outfitters.Prior to establishing Afterpay, Nick launched the leading American online jeweller, Ice.com, into Australia under the local brand Iceonline.com.au. Nick successfully grew Ice in Australia to become the largest online-only jewellery and watch retailer. Earlier in his career, Nick worked as an Investment Analyst at venture capital fund M. H. Carnegie & Co., where he was primarily responsible for growth stage investments. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Sydney University.
