Nicole Flattery is an author. Her stories involve themes of early to mid-life lack of direction, womanhood, and work. Most of her protagonists come from small Irish towns and are often trying to create a new life for themselves in a big city. Flattery's work has appeared in The Stinging Fly, The Irish Times, The Letters Page, The Dublin Review, Winter Papers, and The White Review. Her first book, the collection “Show Them a Good Time,” was published in 2020. Flattery received her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Trinity College.
