Nicole Givens Kurtz is an author of horror and fantasy fiction, especially weird west fiction. She is the founder of the publishing house Mocha Memoirs, which specializes in speculative fiction from diverse authors.Givens Kurtz's fiction has appeared in Crossed Genres Quarterly, Genesis Science Fiction Magazine, Black Girl Magic, Nightlight, and Apex Magazine, and has been collected in anthologies. Her first book, "The Soul Cages," was published in 2004.
