Nina Kiriki Hoffman is an author of science fiction and horror fiction.Hoffman’s first solo novel, "The Thread That Binds the Bones." was published in 1993 and won the Bram Stoker Award for first novel. Her second novel, "The Silent Strength of Stones," was published in 1995 and was a finalist for the Nebula and World Fantasy Awards.In addition to writing, Hoffman has taught, worked part-time at a bookstore, and done production work on The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction.
