Ozan Demircan is a correspondent for the German daily Handelsblatt. Ozan holds a master’s degree in international relations from Istanbul’s Bogazici University, where his research interests relate primarily to relations between Europe and Turkey. He also holds a degree in economics from the University of Cologne and completed exchange programs at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and at the University of Shanghai. Demircan has worked for the Handelsblatt since 2012 and has also been published in Der Tagesspiegel, WirtschaftsWoche, Sächsische Zeitung, and ThePioneer. He is based in Berlin and Istanbul.
