Patricia Bosworth was a journalist, biographer, memoirist, and actor. She was a faculty member of Columbia University’s school of journalism as well as Barnard College.Bosworth was a film actor, but she became a journalist in the 1960s. She reported mostly about the entertainment business for the New York Times and magazines including New York, Mirabella and Working Woman. In 1994, editor Tina Brown hired her as a contributing editor for Vanity Fair.Bosworth published biographies of Jane Fonda, Marlon Brando, Montgomery Clift, and Diane Arbus.Bosworth died in 2020.
