Patrick Barkham is a non-fiction writer. Currently, he writes about natural history for the Guardian.Barkham's first book, "The Butterfly Isles," was published in 2011. He has since published "Badgerlands" (2014), "Coastlines" (2015), "Islander" (2017), "Wild Child: Coming Home to Nature" (2021), "Wild Green Wonders: A Life in Nature" (2022), and "The Swimmer" (2023).Barkham received his undergraduate degree from Cambridge University.
