Patrick Foote is Co-Host of the A.D. History Podcast. He is a media entrepreneur from the United Kingdom, best known as creator and presenter of the YouTube Channel Name Explain. Name Explain focuses on etymology, presenting the origins of names for people, places, and events throughout history by using original animation, writing and narration produced by Mr. Foote himself. Patrick Foote founded Name Explain in early 2016, and currently has 216k subscribers on YouTube. In 2018, Patrick released his first book, The Origin of Names, Words, and Everything in Between published and released by Mango Publishing.
