Patrick Markee is a prominent housing activist, advocate, and author. His first book, "Placeless: Homelessness in the New Gilded Age," was published in 2025. Previously, Markee was the deputy executive director for advocacy at Coalition for the Homeless in New York City, where he worked for 20 years.
