Patricia Lee Smith is a singer-songwriter, musician, author, and poet. She became an influential component of the New York City punk rock movement with her 1975 debut album Horses.
Patti Smith has been at the vanguard of art, poetry, rock and roll, and other forms of self-expression since the 1960s.
