Paul Rodriguez is a Mexican-American comedian, actor, and producer known for his pioneering work in stand-up comedy and contributions to Latino representation in entertainment. He gained national attention in the 1980s through television appearances and his own sitcom, a.k.a. Pablo (1984). Rodriguez has appeared in numerous films, including Born in East L.A. (1987), Blood Work (2002), Ali (2001), and The Latin Kings of Comedy (2002), which he also produced. In addition to his film and television work, he has also had a long standing career in stand-up.
