Paula Michelle White-Cain is an American televangelist and prominent leader in the Charismatic movement, widely known for her role as a spiritual advisor to former President Donald J. Trump. A proponent of prosperity theology, she has authored several bestselling books and has ministered alongside influential evangelical figures such as Jentezen Franklin, Franklin Graham, and Alveda King. She co-founded Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Florida, and later served as senior pastor of New Destiny Christian Center in Apopka until 2019. White delivered the invocation at Trump’s 2017 inauguration, becoming the first female clergy member to do so. She chaired Trump’s evangelical advisory board in 2016 and was appointed special advisor to the Faith and Opportunity Initiative in 2019. In February 2025, she was named head of the newly announced White House Faith Office. She is married to Jonathan Cain, keyboardist for the rock band Journey.
