Patricia Diana Joy Anne Cacek is an author, mostly of horror novels. Cacek's first book, the short story collection "Leavings," was published in 1997, and included her Bram Stoker Award-winning short story, "Metalica." Her first novel, "Night Prayers," was published in 1998. She has published five novels in total. Cacek received a B.A in Creative Writing from California State University, Long Beach.
